The chart I saw on X this morning showed enrollment down 17%, which doesn't sound like a lot, but foreign students almost always pay out of state tuition, which is the most expensive rate, so this much of a drop will take a big chunk out of the budgets of most universities.
There were a whole bunch of foreign students at the smaller state university I went to. There were a not insignificant number of foreign students at the community college I went to before that.
