I’ve heard plenty of women tell me “you are wonderful, but…..”. And I think my grammar is decent and I’m polite. My younger years were full of being told by women what women wand but then seeing said women with dudes who did the opposite of what I was told

Have zero expectations too. Being open to developments is fine, but expecting to get laid that night is not (see: desperation).
I found that the best advice is to learn how to read a room and be funny. Not just "tell a joke," but know how to tell a joke that anyone can appreciate. Nobody hates laughing
Exactly. I’ve had numerous single woman tell me something like that and at some point you realize if they really saw you as such a catch they would be into you
