I just want my government to show some transparency for the first time in my life. The nonstop propaganda from everywhere is just infuriating. One side says "trust me bro, Eastasia is behind Epstein", while the other says "that's a hoax, it was totally Eurasia." Fuck them both.
I'm done listening to any of their excuses or their deflections. They can show us everything and let us make up our own minds or they can fuck off. This charade of pretending like our institutions have any credibility on which to demand our trust is absurd. I wouldn't trust the DOJ or the FBI to wash my fucking car, so I'll be damned if I trust them to handle all of this behind closed doors.
Then you wouldn't trust anything they released either unless it specifically meets your own criteria that you have already assumed is within it or within at least a margin of error of that.
Which is my point. Its completely eclipsed any care about pedos or justice and become a rallying call to scream about how much you hate the government or specific people within it. That's completely valid to do so of course, but it also means the actual literal 'files' themselves mean nothing and couldn't possibly satisfy anyone short of an impossible miracle.
You have no reason to trust them in the slightest, the list of reasons why could go on forever, but the entire discussion keeps this coy "if you just release them bro, then we will let it go bro and everyone will be happy bro" when we all know no one will ever move on from it.
And blindly taking their word while they bury it is better? I say let them release their fabrications and we will see how well they hold up to the weaponized autism of the internet.
If they keep it buried, the chances of people moving on from it is 0%. You have not made a single point that would justify keeping them buried. Your posts just come off as concern trolling for the victims as cover to keep protecting the perpetrators.

Because there isn't one. I haven't defended how they've gone about this in the slightest because its retarded, and has been for years.
My point was about the conversation surrounding it eclipsing the reality of it, to a point where it doesn't matter if it comes out. It has joined the ranks of Roswell, JFK, and 9/11 where literally nothing released on it matters, only what you want it to say deciding if they actually released The File instead of a fabrication.
After all, they just released a massive amount of files for us to peruse and literally no one gave the slightest iota of a shit. I've read a lot of them and still am, have you? Since this is apparently a very big deal to you, I'd hope so but apparently that's work for autists to do that you can just take their word for it when they say what you want to hear.
