Yeah, sorry, anyone who voted for Cuomo is at least as bad. It's embarrassing how the "right" started to shill for a guy who killed more than 10,000 old people because his opponent said that he would not make Israel his first visit.
I think the kosher right is terrified of the possibility that people will come to realize the communist Muslim didn’t win because he’s a communist Muslim but rather because he stood up to the Jewish mafia.
It’s sorta like how Trump won because he stood up to the neocons. I’m sure Mamdani will be similarly constrained by “political realities” aka the entrenched permanent corruption of our AIPAC-funded government, much to the angry disappointment of his voters.
The people at the top of both the Republican and democrat Parties - the officials and the pundits and the financiers - are almost completely detached from “their” bases. We’ve tried hostile takeover, we’ve tried joining forces, nothing works in the end. We need a third party, and I think the time is soon.

That certainly wouldn't have been enough. He did just enough for the Israel Firsters to constantly remind everyone of his position on foreign policy, while running on affordability and other things people care about. If he had made his entire campaign about "Israel bad", wouldn't have a chance in hell.

If I just look at the New York results, where most Republicans voted for Cuomo over the Republican, I'm not sure about a third party. They'll just be called spoilers like Sliwa and it'll be done.
Mamdani won on an anti-Israel populist campaign. Being in NYC, it was of course gay and brown, but you can replicate the anti-Israel populism elsewhere without that NYC baggage. It was basically "America First" but with NYC characteristics.
It's funny to watch "Right Wing Death Squaders for Cuomo" getting upset over this while I'm thinking, "anti-Israel populism is a winning message even in America's most Jewish city, and you're blackpilling."

The important thing is that he wasn't going out of his way to make it an issue. If he had, he might have appeared as out of touch. He ran on affordability. They were constantly haranguing him about visiting Israel and running on the "Stop Antisemitism" party, and calling him a Jihadist.
Now, I'm no fan of Islam, and I generally don't want Muslims in office, but this far-left guy saying that queer liberation demands defunding the police clearly is no Jihadist.
His opponents did basically everything wrong.
"anti-Israel populism is a winning message even in America's most Jewish city, and you're blackpilling."
It won the primary at least. And then he won because most NYC'ers pull the lever for any D who hasn't disqualified himself. But it isn't a third rail, even though so many millions were spent against him.
All you have to do is say that you are putting America/NYC/whatever first and then you get to run against people like Randy Fine blowing a gasket. It's easy pickings. It's become "establishment coded."
Randy Fine is a caricature. As are types like Ted Cruz and Eyepatch McCain. The worse people are the ones who know how to play it. Didn't they spent $10 million removing Jamal Bowman, and not once did they mention Israel.
