Presumably Trump is operating under the theory that the cost of letting business leaders abuse H-1Bs is worth the the gain of recovering the economy as a whole. One would hope that he believes there will be a net increase in American workers if his plans go through.
One potential problem with that scheme is that our current business leaders have no restraint. Or any goodwill towards Americans.
I agree. H1Bs are so out of control in the DFW area that I actively hate growth now. Every new house, apartment, job, car, commercial space, etc are being built for Indians.
