They sort of have a point with the AirBNBs as well. I remember back in 2020 when coof lockdowns first hit, there was basically a rent crash in the touristy areas of my country's capital. Thousands of units suddenly showed up available for long term rent in downtown Prague. I'd be surprised if the same thing didn't also happen in Barcelona or Madrid.
Of course problem with leftoids is that even when they actually find a point, they lock onto the absolute worst possible solutions: nuke the last bits of the economy that still generate revenue, hike taxes, import infinity Africans, some bullshit about Palestine, ...

About the AirBnB's, there's a limited amount of licenses for operating them, so the number is already controlled.
