The offender was escorted away by private security hired by the streamer herself, not twitch security. They have yet to find the perp, but twitch supposedly banned him (meaning twitch knows who he is and haven't notified police).
Twitch had dealt with stalkers before, and their response was to ban the private security guards who fought off the creeps. They put out messaging claiming their security is top notch, then blame the victims for not moderating their streams, as if that does anything to stop real creeps at real meetups.
The incompetence and deflection, combined with the business model of twitch streams, leads me to believe twitch knows who their primary audience is: stalkers and molesters willing to fork over 5$ to get the streamer to say their name.
I guess it boils down to who's to blame for whoring. if a man sleeps with a whore, then gets sad when the whore leaves after she is paid for services rendered, is the man a victim? I'd argue anyone who thinks so has diluted themselves into thinking the whore is anything other than a whore. if the man scorns the whore, and even tries to hurt the whore, it's still the moral thing to protect the whore. the fault lies entirely with the delusional man, as well as the pimps who failed to protect their whores.

Whores provide a service, no matter how degenerate or gross you are getting a product return out of it. Sure its still preying on those same bottom tier men, but they are still getting their service rendered and usually for a pretty low cost relative.

And its operating at such a large scale that it will absolutely find many completely unhinged men by default, straight up provoking them into response eventually.
He still should have been detained and possibly arrested, because the law protects anyone (or should), and his lack of impulse control is a danger to anyone. But she deserves nothing beyond that base level protection, because she is a victim of the consequences of her own actions and should be reminded of that fact. You don't get to play into that system and then be mad when the system kicks back. Women have rights, and that means they don't get to shirk responsibility for their protection onto their daddy or pimps when they get involved in nonsense.

Almost nobody who is watching a female streamer is doing it for the stream itself, and to say otherwise is playing into their obfuscation game. Perhaps the ones without cams at all can make that claim, but those are fractional amounts.
