Wrong. Also, if you think that the picture you posted is a black woman, and not a White woman with 80s hair... get your eyes checked before you drive.
Subject of much debate, but unlikely.
What is fact is in the original comics April actually was a computer programmer. Being a reporter was a change of the animated series.
