What’s hilarious is how we periodically face an onslaught of media/government driven guilt and fear regarding “manmade climate change” because we first worlders produce such a huge carbon footprint and impact on the environment by using more resources and more energy than anywhere else….then western govs all turn around and usher in tens of millions of third worlders into their respective nation’s, third worlders who wouldn’t have had a fraction of the carbon footprint they have now had they stayed in their homeland. If there really was a climate emergency, western governments would not be orchestrating mass immigration into the west, nor would they be allowing AI to develop into a big thing since those LLM AI systems require data centers that eat up entire cities worth of energy inside of one building….also, our governments wouldn’t be feeding the third worlders since they make up a majority of the world population, and if we just let nature take its course, a substantial portion of the global population would disappear in the near future, removing a large part of the impact humanity has on the environment.
None of the policies they force onto the western world make sense unless you understand it’s all about controlling the masses.
Yup, nothing about the Alarmists makes any sense. A few minutes of actual thinking destroys most of their "arguments".
Like calling India and China "developing nations" which are basically exempt from needing to reduce CO2. So Canada's 1.6% must be reduced at any cost, but both India and China's 37% can grow all they like. In fact the "Paris Agreement" for the two are: India will start reducing after getting 2 Trillion (with a T) free money. China waved their Obama Agreement which allows them to double their CO2 output until 2030. Then they promise to start reducing!
Between the two? The amount they increase output every year is close to Canada's TOTAL output. Us dropping 20% or whatever arbitrary number is utterly meaningless.
