OP’s experience is pretty similar to what I’ve seen at VA clinics. I’m convinced that they half-assed my father in law’s cancer diagnosis so that by the time they caught it, it was too late.
When I went to the va, it took me 4 months to get a referral, 11 months to see the specialist, and he told me the va takes too long just go pay out of pocket and closed the referral. Thanks doc.
