I've been told by fans of both Canadian and UK healthcare that this time discrimination is a feature and not a bug. I was told that long wait times forced people to really consider whether or not they really needed the treatment.
Shit like this is why I am convinced that price discrimination is better than time discrimination.
I think you are beginning to see why the Canadian government just conducted it's first ever organ transplant from a MAID patient.
Yeah, I don't even necessarily condemn the concept of assisted suicide in some cases, but it's clear to me now that the government must be criminalized from participating in it.
I have been waiting for an exam with a ''must be done within 4 to 6 weeks'' timeline for over 8 months now. The doctor dosen't know what's taking them so long and apparetly the request is there in the hospital's system.
Been in pain with limited mobility since the injury almost a year ago, and what I got from several doctors is ''I don't know what is going on''.
It wasen't like that in the 1990's, before immigration totally overrun everything.

Maybe this is just me, but if a patient actually is going through with it on their own volition instead of being pressured into suicide by the government, and has their donor card checked, I don't necessarily disagree, but I do absolutely hate the idea of the government pressuring people into suicide for the sake of getting their organs for transplants
