They surely happily censor on behalf of Globhomo, but big platforms were in direct communications with US government agencies giving them specific instructions to remove specific content and people.

Both aspects are a huge problem. They cannot get the legal protections of being a mere platform like a phone company, when they actively curate / manipulate like publishers.

Sure is convenient that they have a mostly impotent figurehead to blame it on so that none of the people actually responsible will ever have to face any consequences.
