Meh but this at least kills any NEW arrivals.

Tomorrow WILL be fun as a bunch on H1Bs outside the US were told to rush back before this deadline so airports will be packed!

They effectively just upped the one time fee. At best that kills a few lowest end arrivals. For the rest it just means corpos will demand applicants stay with them for longer to pay that off.
