A far more egregious abuse of government power and not a peep. They dont actually care about free speech. They care their jew propagandist was fired.

If I hear one more retard harping on about “muh Kimmel’s free speech” I’m going to lose it.
I’m sick of explaining to them that the dipshit wasn’t fired for dissing Trump or Charlie Kirk or MAGA - he’s been doing that for almost a decade, it’s his entire Schtick.
He was fired for actively lying to the American public about a police investigation into a public shooting… you know… the very same thing they prosecuted and sued the living fuck out of Alex Jones for (yet another example of their hypocrisy).
But yeah whatever, expecting a lefty to acknowledge their hypocrisy is like expecting an apology from a woman 😐👍
Let's not fucking forget that the FCC was the primary reason for why the right had no presence on FM radio or television.
Rush Limbaugh is considered a hero on the right because he used AM radio to get around the FCC and major radio stations engaging in political censorship. Prior to Rush, Newspapers had long been homogenized politically, television was sealed shut, Conservatives were being pushed out of Hollywood, and William F Buckley was keeping the right from having alternate voices in Magazines, especially if they were further right than him. Conservatives were already locked out of FM radio, and were basically doing the equivalent of pirate radio, or like the John Birch Society: were mailing broadcasts to people in catalogs they had to sign up for. Seriously, they were saying "like, share, and subscribe" before it was a thing because that's all they had. Rush realized that the big corporate radio stations and the FCC were going to start shutting down AM radio, and he decided to run his show on AM because it was a gap in their knowledge. He got smaller AM broadcasters to adopt political radio because he was basically the only voice in the country for conservative speech. That turned into a multi-decade, career long, battle with the FCC that spent the rest of his life trying to silence him.
The FCC was also trying to prevent Fox News from growing, as (like Rush) it was literally the only conservative voice on Cable, and like a lot of early Fox programming, they were taking huge risks to compete with the goliaths of CBS, ABC, and NBC. Fox wanted conservatives because they felt it was the only real way to compete against the monolith of the traditional broadcasters. CNN was invented to challenge them just on news, and originally, it also included some Conservative voices to bring in the money.
This is the first fucking time since the fucking invention of the FCC in 1934, that it has ever been used to challenge the Left in any way. AT. NO. POINT. in 91 years has the left been called out by a regulator for just making shit up from whole cloth (disinformation), nor have they been challenged for actionable defamation.
You want free speech? Beg for it.
