You know what a game of isolation, exploration, discovery and triumph needs?
An open world section with a motorcycle.
Said no one ever.
It's not just the motorcycle. How does every other metroid game play out?
You're alone. You get power ups, you gain new abilities, get into tougher areas, fight bosses. It's all claustrophobic and contained. Each zone has a purpose. Each area feels unique.
There's no way the open world sections with the motorcycle are going to feel memorable. They will be travel sections to get from A to B. I'll be pleasantly surprised if anything is there to get off the bike and collect then continue on.
AKA active loading screens that Mario Kart and others have been doing for years now. Everyone remember all the elevators in the first Mass Effect? Same story.
