He doesn't think that. He wants the war to escalate because he wants more violence. The thing he doesn't understand is that he will be one of the first targets. The demon that controls him doesn't care about that unfortunately.
He's one of those people who believe that in the apocalypse they'd be king because he'd be able to talk his way to the top of the food chain easily. Likely because he spends all his days trying to manipulate mentally ill, retarded women into wierd sex shit and is able to do so there.
He forgets that in the real world he is a literal tiny man with a punchable face that most people are disgusted by, and his only salvation from the violence will be hiding in his room.
