Why does Ireland’s media not follow the rest of the world’s media? Today the largest newspaper organized a boycott of Israeli products (twitter.com)

Guess the Irish still have their balls.

Do they? As an outsider it seems like the Irish who care about this are leftist and obsess over Palestine while also supporting their own replacement. It seems to come from a settler/colonial framework more than thinking Israel is subverting the west. Maybe im wrong and it's a consensus there so both sides support it. But I find the time and energy they spend on this topic baffling when they're getting replaced like the rest of us

They're being replaced faster because of low population to begin with.

I thought they would put up some kind of resistance, how can you fight for independence for so long and not have an urge to fight for your national identity a few years later?

Finally they're free from England so it's time to go extinct seems a bit anticlimactic.

I spoke to an Irishman yesterday, the topic of Ireland came up. Immigrants didnt arise however he did mention the ties to Europe and poverty. Apparently to them, clinging to the EU (and its Zionist agenda) is a pillar of the Irish identity, bonus points if it spites the Brits who are no longer in it. They also really like the financial aid that the EU gives out, like beggars.

This is, rather sadly, how I've grown to understand the modern Irish psychology from my limited perspective.

A modern-day Irishman would jump off a cliff into shark-infested waters if they were knew it would upset British people. They are complicit with their own suicide purely out of spite. They support subversive retards like Kneecap and as the UK drifts further right, they pull further left, again out of spite.

The UK and Ireland are like the Gallagher brothers of geopolitics. Through Scotland alone, there are so many shared bloodlines and cultural practises that the only thing that truly separates them is the sea. 99% of them speak English (though Gaelic is on the rise these days) and given the fact they're an island nation separate from the rest of Europe, they need a trading partner who is as similar to them as possible. Common sense would suggest it to be the UK.

But they have allowed the events of the previous 200 years to completely blind them. And that's what they desperately need to get the stick out of their ass over. No working class Brit consciously contributed to their ancestors' suffering. If you knew who simultaneously took over the French and British monetary systems during the Napoleonic Wars, then you'd know who was truly responsible.

Ireland can still be saved, but they have to get over themselves first.

Ireland is yet another country where the population opposes its immigration policies, but that has no effect.
