Never been. But I watched some millionaire YouTuber within the last year talk about the pros & cons about it after leaving after residing there for a few years.
He talked about the isolation, the oppressive heat, how annoying driving was. He was a rich guy as well, so a lot of what he talked about wouldn't apply to your average pleb.
The only pro I recall was him talking about the quality of the steaks.

It's apparently great if you're an oil sheik or one of his sons. Not so much if you're an ordinary foreigner.
