I don't hate Indians and I've really only had good experiences with them by and large, at least the ones who have adapted.

I'd bet most of the Indians you've met were from the Caribbean instead of India. Very different people.
One of my best friends is Indian and grew up in Guyana. Mofo is racist as hell (against Indians). He's great.

Those that have been here since the 80s-90s are pretty much Americanized.
