Indian here. One of the most impactful things you can do is to not eat halal food. Not not eat middle eastern food but avoid meat which is halal. The halal industry is used to fund the legal defence of terrorism suspects and convicts. Some of them also import drugs into kafir countries to destroy their youth.
In 2008 Indian Mujahideen terrorists bombed 21 locations in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat state. They had placed bombs and timed them so that when victims run in the opposite direction, a bomb would waiting at that exit to k!ll them. When people were taken to hospitals they entered the casualty and left after leaving more bombs.
Ahmedabad police arrested many people including some who were not involved. They were also tortured in custody. The Jamia Ulema e Hind, the body which receives money from halal licensing for not just meat but also other products, provided top lawyers for many convicts, not just the innocent ones.
In December 2018 Delhi Police arrested several ISIS members who had been under surveillance and were about to strike. 4 of the arrested were acquitted but the remaining were all guilty with a lot of evidence to convict them, including audio and video recordings. An Indian politician named Kamlesh Tiwari replied to a Muslim politician's statement that Hindu right wing militia who wore shorts were gays by declaring an Islamic personality as the 'world's first homosexual'. He served some time in jail and when he came out years later, two Islamic radicals disguised as Hindus monks pretended to be sympathisers and shot him in the face in his office before stabbing him many times. They went on the run for several days and were eventually caught by National Investigation Agency. Guess who provided them lawyers?
Muslims ask restaurants if they serve halal food and walk out after hearing that don't. To appease them, non-Muslim restaurants buy halal meat only. Only Muslims butchers can produce halal meat. Islamic verses are whispered to the animal while its throat is slit. Unlike Jhatka (Hindu/Sikh style of slaughtering animals) which b*heads the animal in one go, Halal cuts its neck and waits for it to bleed out. When Islamic jihadis kill or bomb them the same people who eat their halal food, the money from all those meat purchases will be used to get them the best lawyers possible.

Despite the weird gramatical errors, most of this fits to everything I've seen with Islamic terrorism. Channelization Fire (forcing the targets of your initial attack to a secondary location where most of the casualties will take place) is long tradition of Islamic terrorism. Typically it also is used to target EMT's and emergency services.
"Necks cut Halal style" isn't really a thing. They're just cutting throats and beheading. Halal food preparation is a style of killing an animal, and a kind of religious ceremony, it's not being replicated against hostages. Those hostages are just getting their throats cut.
On the other hand, Islamic NGO's are going to be the ones pushing for Halal requirements. Those NGO's are highly likely to be sending money to Islamic Terrorist groups, and many of the legitimate business in the halal food supply chain are going to be donating to terrorist groups. You can see very similar things with refugee organizations sending money directly to Hamas, Al-Qaeda, or ISIS.
