Self serving and meaningless use of statistics are a problem that most people are guilty of. You can make them say anything, justify anything, and rarely do they accurately reflect most people's reality in a way that is useful.
Like I went with above. Statistically my uncle or cousin is the most dangerous person for me or my children to be around, but I'm going to be much my wary of the niggers and the Arabs.
