Being a white superhero is about being a superhero. Being a black superhero is about making certain viewers know you're black.
It's like a bear riding a bicycle. The entertainment factor is that you didn't think they could do that.
The Deadpool 2 movie with the black chick with the fro, in order to make sure everyone knew the stunt double was black, they had her do a stunt without a helmet, a stunt she wasn't trained for and got pushed into doing, and this resulted in her killing herself, because no helmet, that afro had to shine.
