To make the implication that men know men and are such a better judge of character is laughable. There are countless examples of men making the wrong assertions of another man's character.
Tell me, have you seriously never thought a man to be decent only to learn he wasn't? Are you going to say that you always know a good man from a bad one?
If you're honest, and say no, not always, then you can see here where the judgement can fail. You're human, you have faults. Women are human, they have faults. You take the time to notice the failures and try and make that be the end all be all, when you conveniently ignore the countless success stories of women finding good men early on.
So women devolve all the way down to 'ALL men act like this'
Hmm...saying "all x act like x" is devolving huh? I would agree with this. So why would you turn around and say "all women act like x"? Is that not also devolving?
Unfortunately when it comes to applying knowledge you're very very rarely dealing with generalities. If I'm having a conversation with you applying generalities to your behavior is stupid, because you are your own person, and you're not responsible for general behavior.
General behavior, as it is, is often skewed from bias. I can find 100 examples of this or that and deem it to be general behavior, when the reality has thousands of examples that disprove it that I choose to ignore. It doesn't make it so.

I'm arguing from generalities. You're just nitpicking at the margins.
