The SP guys have lost the plot so badly I had to rethink my whole appreciation of their early work. It seems transparently obvious in hindsight that they have always been subversive agents working under the false guise that they have no agenda or sacred cows.
It is interesting to think about how much media was originally either neutral or disguised as neutral until Obama came into office. After that, even a hint of neutral is deserving of excommunication.
You even see people on the right still fooled by their schtick. Same with Daily Show and its ilk. "I liked Stewart when he was funny and went after both sides!" One of my conservative friends keeps defending South Park from 'the haters' because he claims it makes fun of everyone and the Trump admin has embraced the jokes.
