Look at the culture they were born into, look how much damage social media has done to adults who went most of their lives without it, let alone gen z. Gen z guys have actually given me a bit of renewed hope because there are some insanely based ones and they seem to understand they were sold out more and more

They could overcome it in theory, but it takes Batman levels of willpower to overcome a truly toxic environment, especially when you're not even aware of other ways of doing things. This is why shutting down language is so valuable, you can't resist authority if it's not even in the language.
