Basically, leave it to the countless pawns, let them die. The elites shouldn't be in harms way.
So much more ethical to send thousands and millions of men into battle against each other when a single man will do.
Then you hear the bullcrap argument that someone worse will take his place. Sometimes, sometimes not. You could kill a thousand of them, and they a thousand of yours before it being a drop in the bucket compared to a full scale war like WWII.
A government that carries out assassinations with such zeal and impunity would surely be a trustworthy ally and never try anything like this on us.
