I'll say it. All the "nothing ever happens" people are wrong. Change is inevitable. History is long stretches of people believing things will stay the same as they've always been, punctuated by shorter periods of everything being on fire when unexpected change happns.
It's only a question of what happens first: will the angry masses rise up, or will the ponzi scheme we call western economies collapse. Either way, the future will be messy.
It's quite natural to think the situation you live in is how things will always be. But take a step back and look at history, there is no such thing as an eternal political establishment. And the establishment that is currently oppressing our people across Europe, North America, and Australia has sown the seeds of its own destruction.
Furthermore, our people have a long track record of surviving horrible odds. We survived the ice age. We survived nightmarish megafauna while armed with only sharp rocks and sticks and they were the ones driven into extinction. We survived wave after wave of conquering outsiders trying to roll over us. This too shall pass and we'll still be here.
