I don't actually believe that it's all good intentions. I think that, for a lot of these people, a smug sense of superiority drives nearly all of their actions.
Its hard to tell. I agree it's smug pride that drives liberals, but there is a corrupted motherly instinct that drives alot of these women, too
To a degree, yes. But I think that most people who have actual good intentions also have enough sense to know that things like this aren't a good idea.
