anything to do with blind controller input, yes. the controllers don't read from the GPU, your screen, or your internet traffic, so aimbots are pretty much impossible with them.
this basically limits you to macros and button mashing cheats.
It's less common than on PC, but console players can still buy 3rd party controllers with the same cheats on them.

I remember you used to be able to turbo mod them so it spammed the trigger button faster than physically possible, not sure about any others

You can build a hardware cheat with an arduino/raspberry that looks at the video feed and adjust aim when needed.
