There's software in your controller, so yes.

Now, shot: BF6 won't let you use DS4Windows, software for using newer Playstation controllers on Windows.

Extra bonus on the above: an EA rep says "Using third-party software to enable unsupported controllers may put you and your account at risk of violating the Terms of Service." You know, banned.

Chaser: Certain Xbox controllers won't work with BF6, either.
