I am legitimately convinced that all the foreigners in the area is a huge reason why traffic is so absolutely shit in the DC area. We have people from all over the country and all over the world all bringing their shitty and incompatible driving tendencies into one location and all trying to kill each other on the road. It is a special kind of hell. I imagine there is a similar phenomenon in all sufficiently dense urban population centers.
I hate them driving sober!
