According to Ugandan press the girl was caught setting fire on grass and banging on panels at 4am, security wanted to cancel her trip and advised they take her to a hospital which they did, she attempted to jump out of a moving vehicle during the journey, they returned to base after the medical evaluation, security staff objected saying she was still unstable, the next day she went missing.
There is no mention of her visiting Uganda to prove she is not racist, they only mention that she planned on becoming a doctor specialised in tropical illnesses.
