The problem is that we know these people don't get exiled from industries, they just get shifted around constantly and end up Typhoid Mary-ing everything for their whole careers. It's completely believable that this would be a real person, related to some Fortune 500 trillionaire whose name we don't know, golden parachuting away from disaster after disaster.
The tweet took this into account. As part of the joke, it says this guy has been at it for decades since New Coke. The author should do a follow up saying they landed a job at Xbox.
