It is only Democrat strongholds like CA, Hawaii, and DC that have super restrictive laws on carry, and they are the outliers. 29 states now allow concealed carry without a license, and almost all of the rest have some sort of shall issue permit process. The problem hoplophobes have is that there are more than 3 decades of statistics on carrying concealed, and the facts are in: those with CCW permits are more law abiding than the police itself.
Here, the ATF is doing their usual obfuscation routine. Some ATF agents, you gonna understand, hate private gun ownership, and the agency itself has a decades long history of bullshit. That particular field office is probably loaded with agents that hate the fact that private citizens can own guns, and were probably enthusiastic enforcers of the Biden regime policy of revoking the license of any Federal Firearms License holder who had minor clerical errors on their paperwork.
It's clear after watching a lot of 1st Amendment auditors, which are bias, that law enforcement hates the Constitution and would remove every right if it were up to them.
They just don't care about the constitution one way or another.
They're trained to do the job a certain way. A way which is illegal. When they're caught and punished for it they get mad at the citizens and not their bosses for training them wrong.
Then again this is why police departments hire for dumb obedience and not independent intelligence.
