In a perfect world, these ID verification systems would be a good idea. Our world is so far from perfect, and the people who run it so asinine and malicious, that we must fight ANY advancement of their bullshit, no matter how nice it sounds in paper. Look at people getting persecuted by the system. It's people speaking against immigration, Israel, etc. It's good people. Scoundrels' freedom reigns, on the other hand.
