The left has no idea the monster they’ve created with Gen Z men. Absolutely no idea.
These guys spent their formative years navigating an unprecedented social experiment—COVID lockdowns; DEI struggle sessions; pronouns, micro-aggressions, land acknowledgements, intersectional justice—and, as a demographic, they simply snapped. They stopped fearing cancellation, they realized black marks on social credit scores don’t leave permanent stains, and they started owning—rather than futilely trying to defend against—the accusations of villainry they had suffered since young age.
It’s a wholesale reactionary movement against a political system—more than that, a culture at large—which, rightly or wrongly, they see as dedicated to their emasculation. A system that, in their view, creates little of value, affords them scant opportunity, celebrates that which is ugly and mediocre and profanes that which is sacred.
From the fires of this crucible is emerging the most right-wing generation I’ve ever seen. And from the unhinged group chats of today are emerging the legislators and congressmen of tomorrow.
The left has no idea what they have done, and they can’t imagine what the second- and third-order effects of this will be.
For those of you in Generation Z, do you get this sort of sense of a sentiment shift?
Why do you think there was such an astroturfed attempt to sell the term 'Woke Right'?
The emerging Right-leaning political amalgamation - not really Conservative or Republican - learned the right sort of lesson from seeing how the Left has worked over the past several decades. Groveling doesn't work. Apology is just weakness. Attacking those on your side is just dividing your faction so it's easy to conquer. Not giving a fuck about character attacks(or agreeing and amplifying it) is the perfect counter that just leaves your enemy flustered and floundering, which lets you move on and get shit done. Reward your friends, punish your enemies. They see the prevalent, near universal ethnic nepotism that other groups indulge in, nod, and decide they're going to do the exact same thing.
It's not perfect, mind, but it's a damn sight better than what we've had up until now. It's going to be interesting to see how it develops.
Yeah I pretty much block anyone that uses "woke right" unironically. It's a big sign of a bot or Uniparty shill at this point
"Woke right" is essentially the same smear as "far right." Its only real meaning is that "you shouldn't listen to them because they're bad."
It's also a desperate attempt to dilute the meaning of "woke" as it's been a very successful way of summarizing how the left contaminates discussion and entertainment
