Of course "democracy" is a sham. There has been a complete collapse in support for Israel in Europe, and yet the ruling classes remain steadfast adherents. They follow the Zelensky strategy by creating artificial differences that don't really matter, like recogizing a Palestinian state that does nothing. And they're not even our stationary aircraft carrier. A continent of vassals.
