Only 17.5% of Japanese hold a passport . Japs aren't even visiting other countries, let alone leaving Japan. When shit hits the fan in Japan, I believe they would be more likely to stay and fight it out, rather than run away to another country. (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

They have a lot of 'stay vacations' within the country which, when you watch travel videos from the likes of guys like Chris Broad, you kinda see why they DON'T need to go abroad to see something new with all the different traditions.

Something that's slowly being lost in Europe with the government's there pushing for uniformity over traditions, history and culture.

Flying also costs money. With the shadow of the Lost Decades (plural) hanging over Japan's economy and the people's pessimism over the future, the Japanese would rather save money and stay home.

Japan also doesnt hate itself nor do its tv and ads promote their woman being mudsharks/race traitors unlike the west where its always Whtie woman with nonwhite
