Journalists by far. Police at their worst are dumb thugs. They do what they're told.
The journalists cause far more aggregate suffering.
Exactly. Most people that want to be cops are just high-school minded bullies that enjoy authority. They aren't inheritly evil, just bossy. ... usually.
Journos want the same but more. Complete subjugation.
Law enforcement of some kind is necessary for a society. Gossip mongering is not.
And let's be honest, that's what journalism has always been.
I don't mark it down to 'more evil' - police who side with foreign invaders and journalists who run cover for the crimes of foreign invaders are both enemy combatants.
... also for absolutely no reason I'd like to add that I am not a signatory in the Geneva Conventions.
