they'd very much like to, they're just focused on Taiwan for now. if the United States military backs out of japan, I could see china refocusing on japan.
Taiwan doesn't. more specifically, Taiwan thinks of themselves as the old China in exile while the CCP are a new China subverted by communism.
This is just the manufacturing of consent for endless worldwide imperialism
agreed, but the fact remains that Japan's military is neutered thanks to the United States. Kicking the us out leaves them incredibly vulnerable. Japan would need to rebuild their military first, then kick the US out. fat chance the US would go along with that.

Makes no sense. Taiwan has not even declared independence. Taiwan believes that it's one country. So whether Taiwan takes the mainland (not very likely anymore), or vice versa, that's like Russia taking his own land back in Ukraine, and not like "Rusher conquers Madrid".

You're probably right, but this would most likely result in Israel Iran-Lebanon-Yemen-Syria style bullying rather than conquest.
China isn't invading Japan.

Everyone agrees that Taiwan is part of China. Even the US accepts the One China policy. Taiwan has historically been part of China.
Very different. This is just the manufacturing of consent for endless worldwide imperialism. The troops in Germany are also there to stop Russher.
