Well, how do you feel about The Legend of Zelda timeline?
There are only three entries: A Link to the Past The Legend of Zelda Link's Adventure
and the inclusion and chronology of A Link to the Past is up for debate.
Everything else is fanfiction.
One, why those three?
Two, that's dumb. Each game is its own thing. There is no "timeline."
If anything, Breath of the Wild was an attempt to fix that, saying that all three possibilities eventually end up there, but whatever.
