Until a few years ago, I read nothing negative about Indians on 'right-wing' online spaces. Let alone 'jeet', which I thought was a race in the Elder Scrolls series.
Rabbit fallacy as I like to coin it. When something is small enough or localized enough it is ignorable or seen as a positive, this is the “muh kebab” event or when you see the initial positives. When those rabbits start mass breeding and more rabbits show up and eat your garden they then change from “cute” to a nuisance animal who will eat your food and breed like crazy (or mass import in human equivalency), this occurs because the rabbits have no care for you, they care about the food and take gleefully if you allow it. This eventually ends with a conflict point, where you must either cull the rabbits, kick them out and build fencing, or starve as the rabbits overrun you.
We are currently experiencing the rabbits in stage 2, they are eating our garden and half the country wants to build a fence, while the other half wants to starve because the rabbits are “cute”.
I think this is correct. Up until a decade or so ago they had a reputation of being somewhat intelligent, benign strivers who didn't have great fashion sense. As more of them came to the west and the subcontinent gained wireless internet access the mystique vanished. They seem to tirelessly search social media for "india" ready to comment vile shit at the slightest negative mention of their country or people. Also defecating in every single public space in Canada surely doesn't help.
Frankly, I've never seen any positives for "kebab" immigration. The largest immigrant communities in Europe also have terrible food: Turks, Moroccans, Algerians, Syrians and Indians. So no "but their food is so delicious... MMMMMMMH".
Thing is, Indians aren't nearly as bad as other groups. This is empirically observable. You can look at England, where there are large numbers of Indians and Pakistanis, and guess who's worse? Of course, this isn't because of an artificial line in the sane, but because they're mostly Muslims, and because Islam in Pakistan is turbocharged by being hegemonic and government-supported.
Not telling anyone that he should or shouldn't like Indians, let alone that "we should take in more Indians" as I'm sure some people will read this as. Just my experience.
“Indians are the least bad” is hardly a compelling case, but I’m not even convinced it’s true. Indians are just quieter. The Pakis and various Muslim immigrants will protest loudly and get violent and generally make themselves an obvious problem. Meanwhile, the jeets are busy working their way into tech and politics jobs, at which point they start hollowing out whatever it is they’ve infiltrated in order to sell the absolute minimum service for the absolute maximum price while also importing thousands more jeets as employees for a rapidly worsening product. See: Vivek’s political campaign, every Silicon Valley company, the motel cartel, gas stations, etc.
If civilization is a house, Muslims may be arsonists, but Indians are termites.
Until a few years ago, most people had zero experience with Indians aside from Dhalsim and Apu. Now we know about jeet nepotism that India is the worst country in the world and that their mass migration is bringing everything that makes India horrible with them.
Did you watch the documentary? Like HP Lovecraft said, the more one learns about India, the more one wants to vomit. And pakis are just jeets with a different religion.
Because the normie conservative argument about immigration is about the legality of it. Conservatives didn't want to be called racist so the argument became if you did it legally it's fine. Meanwhile the "model immigrants" were being imported legally and doing everything the illegal immigrants were doing, taking jobs, chain immigration, etc.

That's dumb. Europe was ruined through legal immigration.

'Taking jobs' is bad for workers and great for employers, because it depresses wages. That's probably why they keep doing it. The rulers support it for the same reason we oppose it.
It's not only dumb It's dishonest. Most people making the legal way argument want a mostly white society but they are afraid to say it. It's why you get arguments about speaking the language, and taxes.

Did I miss something, or did something change?

For what? I'm not arguing for immigration. Just making observations.
Until a few years ago, most people had zero experience with Indians aside from Dhalsim and Apu. Now we know about jeet nepotism that India is the worst country in the world and that their mass migration is bringing everything that makes India horrible with them.
Worst country? I very much doubt that. There's Pakistan, Somalia, Gaza. Probably a good number of other places.
And Pakistani Muslims are an order of magnitude more unpleasant for the host country than Indian Hindus and Sikhs.

As a Canadian I can guarantee some of it is from us, they flooded our country with them, especially post COVID. It's fucking crazy
