I wonder why russians allowed syria to fall? Its hard to believe the syrian army (without russian help) would fold in a few days. Syrians are a magnitude less retarded than afghans and the afghans folded in less than a week.
Is ukraine really eating all of russia's resources??
I member the video, Russian dude was questioning himself "why am i fighting for these cowards when these cowards wouldn't even fight for their own country?"
Russia has a huge manpower reserve and a large economy, but Ukraine is now the biggest war that Russia has fought in decades.
It's not clear how many have died but conservative estimates are over 40,000 dead. Without question, this is the single bloodiest war in Europe since WW2, and the bloodiest war that Russia has fought since WW2. The Russians themselves are giving out impossibly low numbers. They're claiming that 4,000 Russian soldiers have been killed, but their contractors are admitting that the PMC's have lost over 20,000 dead, not casualties, deaths. Both sides agree that the total casualties in the region are nearly at, or surpassed, over 1 million dead, wounded, or captured. Considering the war isn't even 10 years old, these losses are at an incredible rate, and the perpetual drone attacks, and failed offensives aren't helping.
The Russian economy isn't in shambles as NATO would like to claim, but taking losses this quickly is very hard to replace, and at least 40,000 dead. Even with Pro-Russian sources, the numbers are way higher than even the Chechen Wars. And the war is most certainly churning up material. Armor kills are much easier to track, and it's looking like the Russians have lost well over 2,000 'tanks'.
And to be clear, this would have been NATO's intent. The war is absolutely bleeding Russian military capacity dry, just as our defense of Israel bled our anti-missile defenses, and just as our funding of Ukrainian weapons empties out all of our anti-tank reserves. If you intended to cause a regime change in Russia, this would be your opening gambit.
Worse when it comes to Syria: Russia clearly can't fight the US. This is the dirty secret that the warmongers don't advertise, but are counting on: US forces would absolutely fucking smash everything but elite Russian infantry. The reason the warmongers want regime change in Russia is because they, correctly, think that the US could probably do a thunder-run to Moscow and win without nukes. Our equipment is better, our troops are better, our training is better, our soldiers and officers are less corrupt, and Russia famously got their ass handed to them in Syria when they attacked a SOCOM base with an armored column. The American military is not to be trifled with, and we are no paper tiger. Any adversary with a brain is fucking scared of us. Our problem is that we don't stick to win wars politically, and we don't colonize or regime change well. But if anyone wants a battle, we'll fucking annihilate them.

I have infinite sympathy for that statement.
