That's what NIL stands for--name, image, likeness.
In any case, I chalk this up more to laziness...though I understand why we'd see it as malice. It'll be fixed.
Plus, it took me a while to find what school this was.
It's Missouri State. I thought it was Montana--the colors are the same and Montana's teams are called the Grizzlies.
In any case, EA absolutely would slack off with the smaller schools like this. But in Current Year, I get assuming malice.
To be fair, cover up the hair with your finger and try to forget it.
Would not be out of place as a black guy if you gave him a nappy haired fade.
I would have preferred a white guy with a giant 1970s shoulder-width black afro as the default character if they where going mix racial traits.
Honestly, this would make a hilarious lawsuit and the kid would probably win.
