It's obviously a Kafka trap to treat the denial as a proof. But it's hard to shake the history in the intelligence community of barefaced denials that just turned out to actually be another way of rubbing it in our faces.
Here's the thing: there are tons of crazy things on the internet. You can find people making claims about damn near anything, and most of those things are completely ignored. Because they're crazy claims.
But for some reason, they come out and vociferously "debunk" some of these claims, when they could choose to ignore them exactly the same way they ignore all the others.
So I don't think it's entirely a Kafka trap. I'd just say that if anything actually gets acknowledged by the people in power, it raises the possibility that it's true substantially.
It’s not for us. It’s for the sheeple (read 40+ who discovered social media 5-10 years ago.) The problem is they won’t even believe. The more people deny, the more people suspect. I’m just curious why they didn’t fudge the report and made a fake list.
