Yeah the most likely scenario always was the "list" was deleted before they even offed him, or sometimes around then. Why keep it beyond that point? For the sake of bureaucracy?
The only stipulation there is why the big talk up about literally having it and seeing it earlier this year, which would be an extremely stupid thing to do if it never existed. Unless he was right and it was a lot of talk without double checking that it wasn't a binder full of blank pages.

"A list" isn't legitimate blackmail material. Anyone could write anything on a list. The video evidence is the compromat. Whoever has the evidence knows who is on the metaphorical "list". They don't need a little black book kept in a safe.
Yeah, the point is that the incriminating material wasn't destroyed. The whole point is to have incriminating material.
You're a fool if you think Israel is the only government using the Comprimat here. We're probably looking at dozens of governments, intel agencies, and NGO's.
