The real treason of Donald J Trump is illustrated by just how much damage he did to everyone's credibility.
In our current situation, you could elect fucking Hitler - not even election Hitler, but WW2 Hitler - and he'd still go kiss the Wall, say "Israel First," and demand everyone stop being so antisemitic.
Trump, in the course of a few weeks, absolutely destroyed any remaining trust in the system, and any faith in populist leaders working within that system. Enthusiasm for outsiders is gone. Trump killed the very loophole that let him get in in the first place, and destroyed any hope for moderate change or even pressure releases.
It doesn't matter what anyone says to get elected, Trump and his administration of outsiders proved that easily.
I'm just theorizing, but I potentially see one or two radical leftists riding the chaos and feeling of betrayal in the right, and then either acceptance/normalization, or boogaloo. But I don't think we see any more "heroes" getting elected on the right to save us.
I hate to say the meme, but I don't see a peaceful solution. Trump was the peaceful solution. Even if a "new Trump" tries to follow in his footsteps, Trump destroyed the bridges behind him. Like I said, there comes a point where it's either defeat, or violence. And, just to be clear, I don't like that position, or either option. But it feels like that's where we're heading.
Yeah, like I said in a different comment, this feels far too intentional to be "Trump revealing his true form!" It happened in too many arenas, at the same time, with the same 180 flip to be coincidental. This was meant to be a buck breaking of him live for all of us to see, and a message about what resisting will get us. Whether they told him it was a trade for his BBB or simply to bend the knee, who knows.
We went from 6~ months of mostly forward momentum, with the biggest issues being the details. All for a lot of it to be ground to screeching halt. And that was done to tell us of our place in the machinations of Israel.
I take a more sanguine view of this in that it doesn't matter what Trump or anyone else says, we're not going to shut up about this. They made the mistake of confusing the avatar with the movement. This was possibly the worst stage-managed twist in democratic politics of all time. They cut the head off the Gasden snake, and now it's turning into a Gadsden hydra.
