Neither gender nor sexual orientation conversion therapies do what they claim to do. One is mandatory ( the one which does maximum and permanent harm to children ), one is illegal ( the one that dosen't do physical damage ).
I agree with you. I wasn't arguing against it. I was clarifying that the law is about prohibiting conversion therapy. If a gay guy asks a Christian about sexual morality and gets an answer that makes him unhappy, that isn't criminal, nor punishable by this law.
