I know I remember bits and pieces from when I was a kid and my dad was watching it, but I never actually sat and watched it all the way through. Great movie, and I loved the scene with John Candy in the car jamming to Mess Around by Ray Charles as well as the ending. Don't think there is any John Candy movie I don't like. Also think I will make this a Thanksgiving week tradition since there aren't that many Thanksgiving themed movies.

I just watched Career Opportunities. It's got a cameo by John Candy.
He was probably the only decent part of that mess of a movie, aside from Jennifer Connelly's presence.
That’s one I’ve never seen. Although I do find that a bad movie from 80s and 90s will seem really good to me in this day and age for simply having things like men who act like men and women who act like women lol
Agreed, but that was kind of the problem with this one-- the main character acted like a worthless, entitled, incompetent, whiny bitch. And for some reason I'm supposed to root for him and somehow he ends up with Jennifer Connelly despite never actually accomplishing anything.
Also they're trapped in a Target and can't get out. But somehow a couple of thieves managed to get in.
Pretty much on point why i dropped it. Tried it months ago and it just felt bad.
Honestly surprised I’ve never seen this. I get why it went a box office hit
Jennifer Connelly.....ahhhhh moon eyes
❤️❤️❤️
For me, Jennifer Connelly in Career Opportunities is the most attractive a woman has ever been.
She is a beautiful woman
John Candy was a great actor, it would devastate me to learn he was involved with all that crazy hollywood bullshit. lmao.
