The trender in season 2 completely killed any interest that I may have had.

Only because some of the reviewers I'd listen to said S2 wasn't a complete story. I haven't even watched any of the series.
Season 1 was awesome. S2 I've only seen a few eps and it's a lot slower but it's okay
